It is ridiculously delicious to whip up a fresh breakfast smoothie. Knowing you are feeding your body pure, healthy, natural goodness. I have been really having fun experimenting with carrot juice lately. It’s the perfect liquid to use for a smoothie because the taste is not overbearing and it is jam packed with vitamins. Today I made a Carrot, Avocado and Banana Smoothie. Yes, it is sweet, and oh, yes it is healthy! I had this with 4-5 dates (holy moly are they delicious and addicting), and boom! Breakfast! I wasn’t hungry at all until lunch.
I love avocados to add in some protein and healthy fat to my smoothie. That is what keeps you going…what sticks to your ribs and keeps you from feeling hungry again too soon. The pineapple is for an added sweetness as well as anti-inflammatory properties.
The banana….oh it’s the best part. I cannot even imagine a smoothie without a banana. They are one of the most delicious foods to have in the morning. They are so easy to digest and so good for you.
